Palms, parrots, tiki heads and pineapples, cut clean through solid steel. Switched on, the design reads as a silhouette against the wall while the fixture throws light up and down — the effect people usually want on a patio, a pool deck or a tiki bar, and rarely find outside of a custom shop.

These suit beach houses and lanais, but they also do a lot of work indoors: a hallway, a bar, a games room, anywhere a plain fixture would be a wasted opportunity. The pineapple is the traditional symbol of welcome, which makes it a natural by a front door.

Two sizes: 10 x 6 x 3.4 in. and 15 x 10 x 5.44 in., in black or oil-rubbed bronze. Hardwired, with LED bulbs and mounting hardware in the box. Add the sealed acrylic top for anywhere fully exposed to weather. Cut and assembled in Fort Lauderdale.
