Shipping

Our fixtures are solid steel, so shipping is priced on what it actually costs to move them — real weight and real box size — rather than a flat fee that would be too high for a local order and too low for a cross-country one.

How quickly we ship

Everything you can order on this site is in stock and ships within five business days from our shop in Fort Lauderdale. Transit time on top of that depends on the service you pick at checkout — ground is typically two to five days depending on how far you are from South Florida.

Custom work and uncoated stainless steel are cut to order rather than held in stock, so lead time depends on the design and the quantity. We quote it with the price — send us your design or call and we'll give you a real date.

How rates are calculated

At checkout you'll see live rates from UPS, USPS and FedEx, calculated from the weight and dimensions of your specific order and the distance to your address. Pick the service and speed that suits you. Nothing is marked up — you pay what the carrier charges.

For reference, the small fixture weighs about 3.8 lb and the large about 7.9 lb before packaging. Because the boxes are bulky relative to their weight, carriers price the larger fixtures on dimensional weight, which is why a large sconce can cost more to ship than its weight alone suggests.

Where we ship

We currently ship within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. If you need a fixture delivered outside the US, call us and we'll quote the freight directly.

Multiple fixtures and bulk orders

Ordering several at once usually costs far less per fixture than ordering them one at a time — they pack together. For orders of ten or more, shipping is quoted manually alongside bulk pricing. Call 1-754-444-3168, Monday–Thursday 8am–6pm ET or Friday 8am–5pm ET, or use our contact page.

Damage in transit

If your fixture arrives damaged, we'll refund or replace it — your choice. Keep the box and packing material and send us a photo at info@customsconce.com and we'll take it from there. You won't be asked to pay return shipping on a damaged item. Full terms are in our refund policy.

If you're not sure which size fits your wall, whether you need the sealed acrylic top, or how many fixtures a space needs, call us. We make these ourselves and would rather help you get it right the first time than process a return.
