Warranty
We cut, weld and finish every fixture in our own shop in Fort Lauderdale. If one of ours fails, we want to know about it — and we'll stand behind it.
Three years — the fixture
The steel body, welds and rivets are warranted for three years from delivery against failure under normal use. If it cracks, separates or comes apart, we repair or replace it at no charge.
One year — finish and electrical
The powder-coated finish is warranted for one year against peeling, flaking or blistering under normal use. The socket and internal wiring carry the same one-year term.
A note on coastal installations, since we're a Florida company and many of our customers are on the water: powder coat is durable, but it is not indestructible in direct salt spray. If the fixture will be exposed to salt air without an overhang, fit the sealed acrylic top, rinse it with fresh water occasionally, and it will last. For the harshest dock and oceanfront positions we recommend uncoated stainless steel, which we cut to order.
Ninety days — included bulbs
The LED bulbs that ship with each fixture are warranted for ninety days. They're consumable, and replacements are inexpensive and available from us.
What isn't covered
- Improper installation, or installation by anyone other than a qualified electrician where local code requires one
- Modification of the fixture, including cutting or re-terminating the supply leads
- Impact damage, storm and wind damage, vandalism, or a fixture pulled from the wall
- Natural patina and surface oxidation on uncoated stainless steel, which is characteristic of the material rather than a defect
- Normal wear, and colour variation between production runs
Making a claim
Email info@customsconce.com or call 1-754-444-3168 (Monday–Thursday 8am–6pm ET, Friday 8am–5pm ET) with your order number and a photo of the problem. We'll usually resolve it without needing the fixture back.
This warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable. It gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary by state.
